What is Reiki
Reiki, meaning ‘Universal Energy’, is a form of energy healing originating in Japan in the early 20th century. It involves tapping into an energy source which flows through all living things to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body. This energy is known as ‘ki’ in Japan, ‘chi’ in China and ‘prana’ in India. Yoga, Acupuncture and Tai Chi are also based on the free flow of this energy in a person.
Every day stresses and life traumas can lead to stagnation of our ki, even resulting in full blockages. These blockages can then manifest in to illness on every level; physical, emotional and spiritual.
Reiki can help to release blockages by restoring the flow of our ki, which then allows our body to find the right path to heal and find balance again.
